What is Liquefied Natural Gas

Liquefied Natural Gas is Natural Gas in a liquefied state and is also known by the acronym of LNG. LNG is achieved by reducing the temperature of the gas to a cryogenic state of approximately −162 °C (−260 °F). LNG takes approximately 1/600th the volume of natural gas in its gaseous state which means it is easier to store and transport.
